Did Harley-Davidson Take My Advice?

Way back in April, Jimmy Mac On Two Wheels voiced our immense displeasure of the new Harley-Davidson logo. The new logo cleaned up Harley-Davidson’s tradition bar and shield while removing the words “Harley-Davidson” and “Motorcycles.” This logo looks like the brand is embarrassed by the “Harley-Davidson” name and the motorcycle culture it represents. We begged Artie Starrs, Harley-Davidson’s new CEO, to reverse the crazy decision of his predecessor and return the name of the company to the logo. He might have listened to us!

Harley-Davidson just released a new model dubbed The Deadwood. In the promotional video from the company, guess what is back? Yes, the old Harley-Davidson logo! Way to go, Harley-Davidson. I sure hope this sticks.

Loud and Proud: It is a motorcycle company, not an apparel brand. Harley-Davidson may have gotten the message. Their supporters are not ashamed to be Harley-Davidson fans. Now if Harley-Davidson will dump the solo saddles and equip all their models with a seat that holds a passenger, I’ll be amazed.
