The One Motorcycle Show is like a three-ring circus. Wait, I take that back. It is like a 50-ring circus. You got the bikes, the cars, the bands, the artists, the food, the demos, the stunt shows and a tradition that I hope continues, The 21 Helmets Custom Showcase. This year the event was presented by Bell Helmets and the Lincoln Design Company.
Twenty-one artists are given a blank canvass (in this case, a Bell Helmet) and the rest is left up to their imagination and creativity. Show attendees scan a QR code and vote for their favorite. Now, my tastes usually run contrary to the status quo but since this is The One Motorcycle Show, where everything runs contrary to public opinion, the helmet I voted for actually won! Congrats to Bryce Wong for the Hotdog On A Stick creation.
