Robbin, this bike’s seller, got sick before he could finish his masterpiece. He doesn’t say how serious his illness is but I’m going to assume it is nasty to pull him away from this bike.
I love it. Robbin tells you it is not a Show Bike. This is a very personal, one-of-a-kind creation that shows plenty of creativity, ingenuity and humor. I don’t know Robbin, but I’ll bet I’d like the guy if we met.
I hope he doesn’t find a buyer. I want this bike to stay with Robbin for the rest of his days (which I hope are plentiful).
The phrase “Running When Parked” (RWP) is code for a once treasured possession that has been neglected in the corner of the garage or tool shed for far too long. Lacking the energy, time or resources to bring the little beauty back to life, the owner lists it for sale in hopes that a new owner will massage it back to health. Our collection of RWP bikes fall into two distinct categories; treasure or trash. And you are the only one who can properly judge which category the bike belongs in.
