Checked back for the March update from Newton-Rider on their foldable helmet and it is a doozy. No mention of helmet standard certification. No mention of production dates. No guess of an estimated shipping date. So what exactly was this update?
Newton-Rider’s March update explains that the company doesn’t think everyone can access the updates on Indiegogo so the company is switching to (or adding) emailing updates and want to make sure they have your correct email. The update page is working just fine, Newton-Rider. You owe it to your investors to give them a real update, even if it is bad news.
Scanning the investor comments reveals people frustrated with both Newton-Rider and Indiegogo. I can’t blame them. Newton-Rider may have started out with good intentions, but the March update is an insult to those who have invested in the concept helmet. It’s time for Newton-Rider to post another update with real product and production information.
