This is a cool old bike that looks like a fun project. The owner claims it will require “very little” to get the bike running. Technically, that may be true. Still, a running motor is only part of the equation. The bike still needs to shift through the gears, stop when the brakes are applied and move forward when the throttle is twisted. Looking closely reveals this little Italian stallion will take some serious elbow grease and a few bloody knuckles to get it ridable.
The saddle is sure cool and the number plates are a nice touch. That still doesn’t add up to the asking price unless you need this to complete your Harley Sprint collection.
The phrase “Running When Parked” (RWP) is code for a once treasured possession that has been neglected in the corner of the garage or tool shed for far too long. Lacking the energy, time or resources to bring the little beauty back to life, the owner lists it for sale in hopes that a new owner will massage it back to health. Our collection of RWP bikes fall into two distinct categories; treasure or trash. And you are the only one who can properly judge which category the bike belongs in.
