Godspeed, Daniel Schoenewald

It is with heavy heart that we say farewell to Daniel Schoenewald. The owner of Advanced Motion Controls died April 24th of a massive heart attack. Daniel was known in motorsports circles because of his amazing collection of antique and rare motorcycles. In addition to being a successful entrepreneur and collector, Daniel was a pillar of the Camarillo community where he lent his expertise and experience to many community projects and programs. On top of all that, he was a friendly, easy-to-approach, genuine dude. You will be missed Daniel, but never forgotten.

Large group of friends: Jay Leno picks Daniel’s brain about the best place to find parts for a 1965 Triumph Bonneville. Daniel was a true motorcycle enthusiast who opened his private museum for motorcycle events like the Norton’s Owners Club and Two-Stroke Extravaganza.
Going out in style: It is reported that Daniel had taken a motorcycle ride on the morning of his last day on earth. That is how I want to remember him.
