Don’t remember the track or year. Photo was shot by a friend’s father who was a professional photographer. He shot a story for Cycle way back in the day. Wish I remembered either of their names.

I’m in the center (z73) getting a fair start at Carlsbad. Took me a few years, but I got starts at Carlsbad wired. Is z73 the weirdest race number ever? That was CMC. They ran out of three-digit numbers.
