Benelli Running When Parked Back On The Block At $500 Discount

Benelli Running When Parked Back On The Block At $500 Discount

Phoenix road trip? Maybe. This super-sweet-looking Benelli was spotted last year and here she is again, still “running when parked” and now offered at a 25% discount off the previous asking price of $2000. Photos ALWAYS make a bike look better than it is, but this little guy looks ready to rock.

I would encourage the owner to invest the time to get it running, and in doing so, get it out of the RWP’ed category. Bump the price up to $2500 and be ready to take $2300. Another alternative would be to leave it alone and list the bike on Craigslist in Los Angeles. This bike would be a perfect prop (and never need to be started) for any of the city’s hipster men’s clothing stores.

The phrase “running when parked” (RWP) is code for a once treasured possession that has been neglected in the corner of the garage or tool shed for far too long. Lacking the energy, time or resources to bring the little beauty back to life, the owner lists it for sale in hopes that a new owner will massage it back to health. Our collection of RWP bikes fall into two distinct categories; treasure or trash. And you are the only one who can properly judge which category the bike belongs in.
