Two Running When Parked Yamahas For $575 Still Overpriced

This ad shouldn’t have used the phrase “running when parked.” It should have read, “buried when parked.” These two little Yamahas appear to have been left under a tree in the backyard since the last time they fired up (and who knows how long that has been?). I guess somebody who has a thing for these models could buy them for parts, but if your goal is to get them running, I’d tell you to keep looking. These two have a long journey before arriving at ride-able.

This bike appears to be complete so if little parts are needed for your Yamaha MX, this RWP might work out for you.
Don’t know how hard parts like the stock pipe guard or fuel tank are for collectors to find. If they are indeed rare, maybe I’ve been a little too tough on this offer.

The phrase “running when parked” (RWP) is code for a once treasured possession that has been neglected in the corner of the garage or tool shed for far too long. Lacking the energy, time or resources to bring the little beauty back to life, the owner lists it for sale in hopes that a new owner will massage it back to health. Our collection of RWP bikes fall into two distinct categories; treasure or trash. And you are the only one who can properly judge which category the bike belongs in.
