Steal This Running When Parked – Wait, It’s Already Stolen

The $400 price seems like a downright steal for this complete-but-dirty Honda Shadow until your read the entire ad. The seller thinks this is his motorcycle to sell but the real owner (and the court system) might just disagree.

It doesn’t matter if the missing roommate owes the ad lister some rent. The motorcycle is not the seller’s property to sell. And when the poor sap who buys this motorcycle goes into DMV to register it, warning alarms are going to be blasting.

Great asking price, but in my opinion, it is not the lister’s property to sell.

Running When Parked” (RWP) is code for a once treasured possession that has been neglected in the corner of the garage or tool shed for far too long. Lacking the energy, time or resources to bring the little beauty back to life, the owner lists it for sale in hopes that a new owner will massage it back to health. Our collection of RWP’ed bikes fall into two distinct categories; treasure and trash. And you are the only one who can properly judge which category the bike belongs in.
