Harley-Davidson Servicar Ready For Starring Role

Harley-Davidson Servicar Ready For Starring Role

This “Running When Parked” shouldn’t qualify as a RWP’ed because when you read the entire ad, the owner says he will get the bike running before you buy it. So it may have been a RWP’ed but it won’t be when you take delivery. And who wouldn’t want to take delivery on this classic?

Almost every motorcycle exploitation movie of the 60’s and 70’s had a Servicar just like this one in their gang. The rider always seemed to be at the back of the pack and would be wearing a top hat or Mexican poncho or both. Sometime the Servicar would carry the heavy firearms and ammunition or just the beer.

If I had a bigger garage and a larger Social Security check, this bad boy would be in my collection right now.

The straight pipe assures the rider will be heard before seen. I would love to hear this motor running.
The three-wheeler rider always played a supporting role. Buy the above bike and you are ready to star in your own outlaw movie.

The phrase “running when parked” (RWP) is code for a once treasured possession that has been neglected in the corner of the garage or tool shed for far too long. Lacking the energy, time or resources to bring the little beauty back to life, the owner lists it for sale in hopes that a new owner will massage it back to health. Our collection of RWP bikes fall into two distinct categories; treasure or trash. And you are the only one who can properly judge which category the bike belongs in.
