2021 Arizona Route 66 Tiddler Tour Set For May 15th

Damn the pandemic! The VJMC Arizona Route 66 Tiddler Tour is rolling again on Saturday May 15th at 9:30ish so get ready to social distance on the coolest ride of its kind. The Tiddler ride welcomes all motorcycles with less than 30 horsepower on a 120-mile, out-and-back tour on the historic Route 66 Highway, starting just East of the California/Arizona border at the Topock Marina and turning around in the mountains above Kingman, Arizona.

You can get full information and entry forms by dropping an email to [email protected]. The ride (that includes an awesome lunch and sag wagon support) is $20 plus $35 if you are not already a member of the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club (your bike doesn’t have to be Japanese).

The event is presented by Klemm Vintage. Their website does not have updated information on the event so drop them an email or call them at (928) 763-5430. The VJMC doesn’t have the event on their calendar either. You are lucky you read Jimmy Mac On Two Wheels or you might have missed this. Here is our story from the 2019 event.

Old bikes and older riders: The event sticks to a segment of Route 66 where the speed limits are low so bikes can be ridden well below their redlines. That is a life saver for a Tiddler.
Fill’er up, sir?: Harry Klemm (green jacket) is the mastermind behind this super-fun event. Riders get a lot for their $20 entry fee.
